32 Bit Bas Files

Here are some modules you can use to assist you in programming for AOL 4.0. They are 32 bit, meaning you can't use with them with Visual Basic 3.0.

Bas File Description
CryoFade Version 2 This is an excellent fader bas when you don't want scrollbars to set the fade. It has nearly 50 preset fades, with over 5 form fades.
Dos32 Undoubtedly, this is the best bas file ever! It includes Dos's Chat OCX which is also great. If you program for AOL4, and don't use this bas file, go crawl back into the whole from which you came.
Hix's Instant Messenger Bas This is the best, and perhaps only AOL Instant Messenger 2.0 bas file.
Jolt32 This is the most used AOL 4.0 bas file. It is the basis for most bas files, and it is still the best.
Mission's AOL4 Mass Mail Bas Version 2 The new version of my bas file has parts of Dos32 incorporated into it. If you are making an MMer for AOL 4.0, make use of this file!
MonkEFade Version 3 This is, without a doubt, the best fader bas. You can easily make a fader with scrollbars using MonkEFade3.

Forms Description
Mission's Mass Mailer Version 2 This is a great Mass Mailer created by Mission. It was created with VB5 for AOL4. Everything needed for it is included in this zip file. It quickly does New, Old, Sent, and FlashMail - and works 100% of the time!
Mission's Auto-Fader This is a simple Auto-Fader created by Mission. It fades the chat text from red to green, and illustrates how to use Desaware's Subclassing control. Thanks go out to LiViD for his bas file.
