Hider's Programming Mega Site Hider has a pretty good site here. It competes with KnK's, and has some extras that he lacks in 32 bit programming.
Proggin' USA This site has the best Visual Basic web boards. The interactive forums are really helpful, and worth a visit.

HTML Goodies This is the best site out there for teaching HTML - a must visit!
Java Goodies From the creator of HTML Goodies, this is a very good site for trying to learn Java and Java script. It has over 150 scripts!

These are a few servers in which you can create free web pages.

Server Description
Tripod My favorite server. It allows for 11 free Mega-bytes, and has pretty good web-editing services. However, it has an annoying pop-up window for every page you create at their server.
Fortune City This site allows the most free space - 20 mega-bytes!
Xoom 11 Mega-byte server with great resources, including web tutorials and free art.
Geocities Another 11 Megabyte server, with an annoying pop-up window.
Angelfire This site is for the beginner. It has very baby-like help and I think 10 Mega-bytes free.
Unrestricted Zone If you are going to make a porn site, this is the place! It allows the most space - 30 Mega Bytes! However, I think you get a pop-up window.
